Top Tips While Decorating Your Bedroom

Hey everyone, Sorry I have been quiet on the blog this week, I was swamped down with important college work. As I have one done and dusted,  I decided to do a different kind of blog post this evening, as I'm a HUGE fan of interior I wanted to talk about simple tips while decorating your bedroom. This post is going to be straight to the point or in other words an easy read. If you follow me on Instagram or even snapchat you will have seen a quick snap of my bedroom/office. Its getting done up with just a few more adjustments left to be done. I love decorating, especially when you have an idea in your mind it can be quite exciting decorating. Personally, the more simple the bedroom the more elegant it will look. If I had my way everything would be in white, marble and gold. But I think we all can agree the brighter the room the better the lighting will be ( a positive side while getting ready).

So, here is my best tips while decorating your bedroom. And by these tips I don't mean you have to go painting, readjusting etc. I basically mean easy tips to make your room prettier on a low budget. I know items can be quite expensive, especially home decor. But TKMAX, IKEA and Penneys are your best options. The cost is inexpensive alongside the bedroom materials which are all to die for, suitable for all tastes and styles. Below is a small snap from my bedroom, it kinda gives you an idea of the type of interior I'm interested in. Pastel colours and classic black and white wall paintings.

Enough rambling, here is the my top five picks, enjoy the read!

1) Declutter all your unwanted items (I know it can be hard but to achieve a tidy room, it has to be done).
2) Pick a theme, colour scheme and style for your room. You don't want to have a random mixture of style, pick one and stick to it.
3) As mentioned above, Penneys have a great range of little bits for you room including candles, frames, artificial flowers and ornaments. This adds the homely feeling to a room and looks great on shelves.
4) A wall painting is a key. Either a classic picture of NYC or Paris looks amazing on a wall. These can be bought literally anywhere, +Next have a good variety. On the other side of my wall, I have a large picture canvas of Audrey Hepburn, its so classic and adds colour to my room.
5) Keep minimal space on your dressing unit. You don't want all your makeup on display it may often look messy, so keep only your valuable items on show. Also opting for colourful cushions on a plain bed cover looks great, it adds to the room and makes your bed look  more cosy than it already is.

I really hope this helped, if you have any queries make sure to contact me or if you want to see more of my room snap me and let me know. Have a super weekend and I'll be talking on my snapchat Sunday xxx HaylsKouture.
